Creating Asynchronous Snapshots

I've spent the past week trying to set up proxmox and finally got it up and running, but now I'm confused about snapshots. I set up a ZFS storage and all my VM's are on that. I'm trying to set up the snapshots to be asynchronous/multiple parents so that there wouldn't only be a single chain. I'm pretty sure it's possible since I saw it here: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/File:Screen-vm-snapshots.png
I'm currently running Proxmox 3.4.6 and I've tried everything. Any help is appreciated guys.

I actually do have one more question, which storage system would support the asynchronous snapshots? I really liked zfs because of all its features, but if there is anything better than that then I guess I'll give that a try.

I just set up all my drives again and removed zfs and instead set up the storage as a RAID 5 and set it up in the web interface as a directory (with qcow2 files for the vms) and I still don't see any options about how to take multi parent snapshots. What am I missing here?
