Hi All

I have a Proxmox node that I inherited, with about 25 VMs on it, and Im in the proccess of putting it into a cluster.

Its running a rather old version of proxmox and has not been upgraded.
(Version 2.3-13)

Ive installed two new copies of Proxmox to add to the nodes, and they are 3.3-2

Now, I have not been able to get clarity on this, Can I add them to one cluster, move the VMs across to the new nodes, and then do an upgrade of the old node? Or do I need to Upgrade the old node (which makes me worry a bit) then add them to the cluster and then upgrade.

Kind regards

Backup all your VMs to separate storage first... I would also backup /etc.

Just in case you need to restore from backup due to a failed upgrade.
