It might simply be due to the graphics driver/hardware, which this normally helps with.
Otherwise, have you already upgraded the firmware of the server to the latest available version? That also helps in some cases, as firmware unfortunately often has quirks.

Just had the same issue today with an old nvidia gpu i had laying around. worked like a charm.
The other way I discovered was to install pve 7.4 and then upgrade to 8.2
