Could not activate storage 'local-zfs',

Greetings,
I've got an issue that is probably a frequent "newbie" error. I have two proxmox servers. I create a cluster. Everything joined fine. But not really. On my second node "pve2" the local-zfs has a gray question mark now. When I click of it the summary is blank and when I click on VM Disks I see this error "could not activate storage 'local-zfs', zfs error: cannot import 'rpool': no such pool available (500)" from what I have gathered both servers have a "rpool" and there can only be one? How can I get pve2 to change the local-zfs to a different "rpool"? Like rpool2 so it can load? Or am I going about this wrong?

Any help is much appreciated!

Please note that for replication you need to have the same pool on all relevant nodes.

old thread but this helped with my problem.
newly joined node in cluster could not restore a VM backup to it. (going LVM -> ZFS)
I could not get local-zfs storage to show in drop-down.

everything looked fine, enabled in GUI, etc. but
root@asrock11:~# pvesm status
....
local-zfs zfspool disabled ....

went into Datacenter Storage, Edit local-zfs and select/enable this node in Node list.
It appears that if you customize this list in the past, it'll of course fail-secure and not acknowledge new nodes.
I think if there are restrictions on a storage class it should reflect that in the GUI in the Enabled Column or a Restricted column with Yes
