Corrupted chunks, verification failed. Are subsequent backups affected?

ZFS has informed me about some corrupted chunk files, so I ran the verification of all my backups. Thankfully, only one of them seems to be affected, but it got me thinking.
Since most of the data is de-duplicated, are all subsequent backups of the particular VM incomplete now as well?

if a verification of the subsequent backups (i'd run it again to be safe) returns ok, they should not be affected
