Correct User Setting

Hi,

what settings do I have to use for a User that can create (1) CTs at its own?

Hello christian.a

- Create a user (Datacenter -> Users -> specify credentials)

- Add the proper role to this user:

* Datacenter -> Permissions -> Add -> User Permission

* specify "/" as path (no restrictions - see also below)

* select the previously defined user

* select as Role PVEVMAdmin

* same as above with Role PVEDatastoreUser (if you want to restrict access to a certain datastore say "/storage/<Storage-name>/" instead of "/")

Note: Now this user also see and can change/delete all existing VMs - if you want to restrict access to machines created by this user a pool has to be created and user has permissions only inside this pool.
