Hello,

I have one vm with scsi disk on config file.

Hard Disk (scsi0): dev2tb:888/vm-888-disk-0.vmdk,backup=0,iothread=1,size=1900G

and I can convert this disk type to sata without losing the data (vmdk) in that disk ?

It is just an attribute. You can edit the hardware panel of the VM and change it. You will likely need to detach the disk first. You will also need to power down/power up the VM.
You will not loose the data, but you may loose access to the data. It will depend on how your VM OS can handle the change.

@devrimir It doesn’t need detaching as I recall, though does need turning off as is the case with most hardware changes. But what is your goal? Usually SCSI is recommended.
