Convert LVM to LVMthin

I would like to know if it possible to convert a LVM to LVMthin in a server which is mount with two disks without OS ?

I already have a logical volume with working CT on it.
Is the command "lvconvert --type thin-pool pve/data" is safe for my CT or do i need to remove all of them ?

you should take backups of your containers before trying it
