I have been attempting to convert a Windows Server 2000 with a MS SQL Server 2000 on it to Proxmox unsuccessfully.

The machine has three virtual disks, one 33G (Where the OS and boot are), another 136G (Where the databases are), and a 100G (used for storing SQL backup dumps).

The MSSQL Enterprise Manager shows the server running and all the local databases available as shown in the next image.

The import completes successfully but the MS SQL server databases disappear from the SQL Enterprise Manager as shown on the next image:

Here's a screenshot of the converted machine Disk Management:

Everything is converted and properly mounted but yet MSSQL databases disappeared.

Has anyone experienced this or has any idea how to solve it?

Regards,

Dennis

I don't really have any experience with MSSQL, especially such an old version.

The disks are present under the drive letter they should be? You can write data to it?

I don't think there is much more that can be done on the Proxmox VE side unless there is a better understanding of what's going on in MSSQL and what it does not like.
