I am still getting to grips with ProxMox and I must admit I am impressed. This is after trying to run up OpenStack and MaaS on ubuntu which currently don't work. Even if they did for my level for my purposes something that can run NASA is just tad bloated for my needs.
I really like ProxMox but firstly I would like to check if I am doing things right.
Some of the turnkey appliances need an IP to set up so I am applying a venet IP.
I want in some cases a mac address so after set up I am switching the device and setting it up manually.

If that the best way or is there a way to pre configure a template to use veth rather than venet?
Also it would be really good to have these as part of the gui where you change the network IP / device and vice versa.
Stuart.
Whilst I am here and just evaluating would you send details of the Proxmox VE Community Support as what does it give more than I seem to have?

Many Thanks
Oh please get Spice included as soon as you can
