Hello,
coming from Hyper-V. There, I simply open the console and copy/paste a strong password, for instance in both windows and linux local admins. Or even other things like url or so.
How would I go about that in PVE?

Sorry, wasn't quite clear on that. Not talking about copy/paste, but type text. You can't copy/past into windows login screen but you can type with Hyper-V console.

Oh and btw tried copy/paste into noVNC default console, no go.

Yes, you are able to type there and use direct PVE commands from PVE UI.

Sorry, I don't understand your last post. What PVE commands for instance are you talking about?
What I am doing - most likely - wrong? I copy a text on local computer, and then try to paste it into Notepad on the remote machine, by pressing ctrl+v.

There is no direct 1:1 match what you're asking. I don't like Hyper-V but that copy&type behaviour is very nice and I miss it on other hypervisors. The closes you can get to this is to go to the hypervisor monitor and send each key manually via sendkey shift-p. There are some browser plugins that claim to do something like that, yet I never tried those.
