When we try to open a console window we receive the following:

attempted to open a sandboxed jar https://x.x.x.x:8006:/vncterm/VncViewer.jar as a Trusted Library

Clicking on details displays the following:

t: dump thread list
v: dump thread stack

We have uninstalled and re installed java on the client pc. Java appears to be working for other applications just not proxmox console

Proxmox vas version 2.3 upgraded via upgrade script to version 3 any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I'm receiving similar errors after upgrading from 2.3 via upgrade script. I'm running Ubuntu Precise with Firefox 22.0 on the client.

$ java -version
java version "1.7.0_25"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_25-b15)
Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 23.25-b01, mixed mode)

Not sure this is the same problem, but I have started to see errors when using the java console. They appear at random, and when stopping giving an error code. In this case console was open, I opened another one and this one gave an error. I have flushed java cache , removed vncviewer.jar etc. There is no AV on this station so I can't really point to it. But it still occurs.

What do the error codes represent?

BTW, I can click "reload" and have it reopen.

Just wanted to add another capture...

Where can I find the meaning of the error codes?

Guess no one else has seen these, but on a good note, changing from firefox to chrome seems to gone in the right direction. Having used Chrome now for about 7 hours and no errors..

This issue is at your desktop. I got 4 Proxmox servers in different versions 1.9, 2.1 and 3.1. All of them I could not open any console of any virtual machine. I tried some steps before a complete system restart:

My Desktop:
SO: OpenSuse 12.1 i586
Browser: Chrome 29.0.1547.65
Java: 1.7.0-45

I have tried this steps before complete restart:

  1. Upgrade my java from 1.7.0-25 to 1.7.0-45 (no sucess)
  2. Clear only cache inside Chrome (no sucess)
  3. Clear cache and cookies inside Chrome (no sucess)
  4. Clear java cache outside Chrome as root (no sucess) - http://www.serv-u.com/kb/1761/Clearing-Java-Cache-Erratic-FTP-Voyager-JV-Behavior (javaws -uninstall)
  5. Clear java cache outside Chrome as my user (no sucess) - http://www.serv-u.com/kb/1761/Clearing-Java-Cache-Erratic-FTP-Voyager-JV-Behavior (javaws -uninstall)
  6. Finally after a complete system restart this problem was solved for me. Maybe a logoff and logon do it too...

Obs.: In all this steps I have closed my browser and opened it again.

Hope this can help you!

Best regards!
