Hello,

This is my firs post on this forum.

I would like ask a question.

Actualy my development server is running Ubuntu and make followin functions.

- Virtual Servers by Vmware Server
- NFS server
- MDADM RAID 1 for NFS and Vmware Machines
- Print server

I think i will get more performance using OpenVZ than Vmware Server.
I can say, Vmware is slower than Qemu.
And this vmware interface... un my client ubuntu box... crashing. I have use virtual machine with vbox and windows xp to acces Vmware server client...

The question is

Can i use mdadm (RAID 1) for created virtual machines ?
I mean OpenVZ or Qemu ?
I don't want store data on hard drive where i installed the proxmox.

So i want put 2x 1 tb hdd into my test box, set up mdadm and store inside my machines.
Is this possible ?

Second question, is possible to use a NFS for store machines ?
This same question, but i have nfs server inside my network, mount it to a folder /remote and there save machines ?
Is this possible ?

The last question.
Where are stored configuration about all virutal machines like OpenVZ and Quemu.

What files allow me to restore server from crash.
My server goes down, i loose all data but have backuped up some files.
So, i install new proxmox, on another machine.
and then, what files restore to start my server working.

Please excuse my english.

Regards
