Hello!

I am trying to connect my HP array via ISCSI and sell the storage but without format.
I'm looking for how to do it but I can't format that storage.

Can anyone help me?

Hi @Normicro , welcome to the forum.

connecting a big-vendor array via iSCSI to a Linux host (which PVE is at basic level) is described in many places:
https://www.hpe.com/psnow/doc/a00062068en_us
https://community.hpe.com/t5/hpe-eva-storage/msa2012i-and-iscsi-initiator-setup/td-p/4329757

etc

sell the storage
I'd recommend achieving concrete understanding of concepts and technologies involved before providing chargeable service. Best wishes in your entrepreneurship.

without format.

You'd need to expand on what you mean by "format". The term has many meanings at different layers of the stack.

Good luck

Hello,

I mean that when you connect the cabin via ISCSI to the node, it leaves it in raw format, but I need it to have another format to see how much storage is left and that I can choose how much storage I want on the disks that I create, since being in that format It doesn't allow me to choose the amount of storage I want to give to the disk.

yes, that correct behaviour
t, but I need it to have another format to see how much storage is left and that I can choose how much storage I want on the disks that I create
If you plan to have this storage connected to more than one node: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZXXa7ujoks
If its just one node: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Storage:_LVM_Thin
