I have a dl 360 g9 with 6 500gb drives in raid 5, and 2 300gb drives mirrored. I also have a 64gb USB drive that used to be the system drive when it was a NAS. I'm thinking of installing proxmox and then build a NAS vm on top.
I tried to install proxmox on the 64gb drive, and use the others for storage, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the raid or mirrored drives to be recognized.
Can someone please provide me some information on how I should build this? Should I combine all drives into a raid zero? and then install proxmox on that drive and remove the USB?
Is there a better way to set this up?
