Compatibily Proxmox RAID 500 Lenovo

Morning Srs.

Someone knows if proxmox works with Lenovo RD540 server?

This servers have a RAID-500 Hardware Based Controller. But don´t have cache battery and sinceraly i don´t found any referente about compatibily.

Most probably yes.
PVE 3.4 uses the Redhat 6 kernel + patches, so your chances are good there, since Lenovo itselfs tested it.
PVE 4.0 uses the latest Ubuntu Kernel + patches. and it works according to this thread:

( note the solution for the temporary boot problem in the thread)

Most server systems support Linux out of the box those days, so it should not be a problem, raid controller included.
