Clustering servers with VM's on them

I have 2 independent proxmox 5.2 servers with VM's on them. I want to now cluster those 2 servers and a new 3rd one. Is there any problem with clustering the servers with VM's on them as long and the VM ID's are all unique?

You will need to dump the VMs on the second node and restore them after it joins the cluster.
