Hi,

I have Proxmox installed on my SSD drive, and I have virtual machines on my second NVMe drive.

Today I want to change my SSD drive to NVMe.

To do this, I will clone the SSD drive to NVMe.
After cloning, will it be enough to connect the NVMe drive to the computer and Proxmox will start by itself?
Or do I need to do anything else before I connect the NVMe drive to the computer to start Proxmox?

The file system on the Proxmox disk is EXT4+LVM

Thanks!

Simply cloning the SSD to NVMe may not be enough, as you might need to reinstall GRUB, update /etc/fstab for UUID changes, and ensure the LVM volume group is recognized (vgscan --mknodes && vgchange -ay).
