Clock Speed.

Greetings,
I have an Overclocked Intel i7-7700 running at 4.9ghz. In the proxmox shell, it shows the correct clock speed but on a VM it is only showing 4.2ghz. I've asked this question a few times, but I'm trying to understand why a VM doesn't report the actual clock speed and 2), does it matter?

Hi,
1.) AFAIK qemu use the cpu spec value and not the current.
2.) No, it makes no matter this is the only number.
