Clarification Active-Active Bond for Cluster Network

Can anybody get into details why Active-Active Bonds should not be used for the Cluster Network?

The sentence from here: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Network_Configuration#sysadmin_network_bond

"If you intend to run your cluster network on the bonding interfaces, then you have to use active-passive mode on the bonding interfaces, other modes are unsupported."

Seems pretty clear but does not tell what the problems source is.

Does anybody know more about this?

I would really interessting to know what the problem is but on the other hand activ-passiv bond is better than no bond.
