Hi,

I've got 3 Proxmox machines, all on 6.x and up. After updating FreeNAS to 11.3 I've lost access to CIFS shares (Proxmox to FreeNAS) from all of them. NFS still works properly and the shares are accessible from Linux and Windows. Both FN and Proxmox have a pretty standard setup.

Did anyone else encounter this issue?

Hi,
without an error message, it is hard to say anything.

Hi, yeah, I was a bit too vague - I expected to troubleshoot this from the FreeNAS side. In the end i found a workaround by adding an aux samba parameter in FreeNAS - Services - Samba: username map = /usr/local/etc/nonexistingfile.map
