Choosing a RAID controller

Hi all out there,

I'm using Proxmox since 8 months now and it's working fine, nice done ;)
Till now I worked without RAID in my private Proxmox machine, but now I would like to go for a RAID system.

As I don't have the money for a "real" RAID controller I've had a look at the Promise "fake" controllers.

Wich are:
- PROMISE FastTrak TX2300
- PROMISE FastTrak TX4310

So now a few questions:

1. Is anyone of these controllers working with Proxmox ?
(The drivers seem to be in the actual kernel -> http://wiki.debian.org/DeviceDatabase/PCI, are they in the actual pvekernel too ?)
2. Does somebody have one of them in productivity ?
(I know most of you have big machines with real RAID controllers, but I simply won't spend too much money on the controller, as this machine is going for private use)
3. Has anyone WebPAM working with Proxmox ?

So many questions :D
Hope someone can help ;)

Kindly
