change vmid.conf storage location

hello is there a way to change the vm conf storage location?

default
/etc/pve/qemu-server/vmid.conf

where I would like it
/tank/vm/vmid.conf

No, you cannot change that (/etc/pve/ is a very special cluster aware file system - we depend on that).
