Hello,
as a beginner I kindly ask for advice.

For private use, I am configuring a PVE on a Futro S740 with 16GB RAM.
The boot disk is a 128GB M.2 SSD.
Two 512GB SSDs are created as mirrored ZFS which should contain the ISO images and CT templates as well as the VM disks and CT volumes.
Furthermore, a large HDD is to be added as data storage for Nextcloud and as a Samba share.

What do I have to do so that the 512GB ZFS stores also the ISO images and CT templates?
I am at a loss.
Thank you very much for a hint.

Regards Walter

First you need to add the 512gb space as Proxmox storage type. If you want to use it for storing both VM images and file based content (ISO, Snippets, etc) , then it has to be added as "zfspool" type: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Storage:_ZFS
You then need to checkmark all the types of content that you want to store on there.

Thank you very much for the assistance. It has put me on the right track. Finally, I found the video "Setup ZFS Pool inside Proxmox" on the YT channel MPR very nicely explained and to follow directly.
