Change smb/cifs connection via GUI

Good evening,

Is there a feature request to allow changing SMB details of an existing SMB/CIFS storage connection on a Datacenter setup using the GUI, instead of editing /etc/pve/storage.cfg on a member node?

Reason: My Windows client, which exports a SMB share of ISO images, changes its IP address after every reboot. Although there is no specific reason preventing me from setting up a fixed IP on the Windows client, I am curious why this change cannot be made through the GUI.

I am curious why you define an IP as server and not the name as so the switching dhcp IPs is irrelevant to your smb/cifs mount.

Thanks,
Thank you for this, pointed me in the right direction to be able to update this value. Like you I had it set as an IP for my backup server and wouldn't have mattered if I didn't because I overhauled my network and setup a new domain for everything when switching routers.
