Change Sender Display Name in notifications

Hi,

I would like to change the Sender Display Name when clients receive notifications from Proxmox Mail Gateway (PMG). For example, currently the sender is shown as "Proxmox Mail Gateway" <postmaster@hostname.mydomain.com>, and I would like to modify it to something like "IT-School-Department" <postmaster@hostname.mydomain.com>.


Could you please guide me on how to make this change, or let me know if it's even possible?

Were you able to change the sender display name? I have the same issue after an update.

I already have the Proxmox name changed in the common places mentioned in previous threads and it was all working properly until the recent update from PMG 8.1 to 8.2 and now the emails have the name "Proxmox Mail Gateway" for all the bounce backs the clients receive.

Which previous threads?

One thing that is related and changed with PMG 8.2 was that you can now set the admin-from address in the GUI

This should fix the issue - if not - please provide logs of a mail that is problematic.
