Change HELO-fqdn independently from server hostname permanently?

Edit: /etc/postfix/main.cf

Add: smtp_helo_name = mail.yourdomain.com

But when you make any change on the GUI configuration and save, the change is lost. Is there a way to make the change that would not disappear when you edit/save on the GUI configuration?
