Hi,

We're running PVE 8.4.1 and I'm currently investigating the options for replacing web UI certificates for Proxmox VE. We use a well known ACME provider to obtain certificates, but the option to configure this at the datacenter level appears to be missing (Datacenter > ACME > Accounts > Add only shows Let's Encrypt and Let's Encrypt V2).

At the host level > System > Certificates > ACME the ability to add the same as the above, but there's also "Custom" ACME directory. When selected this brings up more UI options (URL, EAB Key ID, EAB Key, which we'd expect). The 'Register' button is disabled presumably until the URL has been queried and something has been toggled to allow you to agree to the ToS.

The problem however is that no matter what is entered within the URL, query URL doesn't work, always returning a connection error after exactly 30 seconds. We've tested the URL is accessible via wget from the host itself, and this happens instantly.

There's this similar post (https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/acme-with-custom-acme-directory-doesnt-work.147058/) but it's for Proxmox Backup Server which we aren't using and thus don't have the command line fixes available.
