please i need assistance on CephFs storage ...it didnt add after i created the metadata server. Please what can i do?

Also is 8.1 using Ceph reef or Quincy?

did you remeber to check the add as storage check box?
if not youl will need to add manually in the storage section

Thanks so much but please how can I delete the ones I created initially so I will be able to do it

Delete what?

In general reverse the steps you took, read up on pveceph command too

So for a fully configured cephFS volume IIRC <check the docs YMMV>:

• stop anything that holds the mount open if needed
• remove the storage volume at the cluster level in the UI
• the destroy the metadata servers in the UI for the pool you want to remove
• then destroy the pools in the UI

**be careful**

you might want to read up on ceph in the docs /pve-docs/chapter-pveceph.html#_destroy_cephfs (you will need to click the docs button in your UI, i am not sure where the online version is kept)
