Hi,

we've a ceph storage over 5 nodes with 6 SSDs on each.
The SSDs have a capacity from 960 GB.

Now the CEPH Storage is on 90% full and we want to encrease the storage.
I think about replace the SSDs with 2TB ones to double the storage.

How we should do this, replace one OSD after one and wait on each replacement to settle it (I mean reorganize the pgs or what it called)

When I replaced only three SSDs per host, encrease the storage too?

Bye

I would do this, yes.

Yes. You may want to adjust the weight and do rebalancing. You may also run into problems that the new SSDs are hammered more than the others, if that is OK for you.
