Ceph OSD with non identique servers disks

Hi Guys,

I would like to setup cluster with 3 NON identique servers disks for cephOSD ,is that possible ?
if not what the best suggestion for shared storage to ensure High availability with my following disks drives ? Thank you .

1-Dell PowerEdge R640:
-cpu : Xeon(R) Silver
-Ram : 128 go
-Storage : 2*480 go SSD (Proxmox OS ) + 5 * 2.4 To
2-Dell PowerEdge R640:
-cpu : Xeon(R) Silver
-Ram : 64 go
-Storage : 2*480 go SSD (Proxmox OS) + 5 * 1.2 To
3-HP proliant Gen10:
Cpu : Xeon(R) Bronze
Ram : 16 go
Storage : 2*300 go SSD (Proxmox OS)

Yes. 1.2 TB and 2.4 TB aren't do different for ceph to make problems, even in the default settings.

But, it has to be said that it makes things easier and more spread out if all servers have roughly the same specifications.
If one can choose I would always go for that, just as information for possible other readers.

From the list it seems that the 3rd server would have no OSDs at all. I'd recommend to either add some disks for OSDs there or move some OSD disks from the other servers to this one, so that all three servers host OSDs.
This is very important for high availability and reliability - as else if server one or two go down ceph will be read only any more.
