I use GUI to create OSD by using SAS disk and result as below.

It seems that it create success, but it could not add into ceph osd cluster.

I have try on other cluster, but the 2T SAS can not add into it. But I test with 300GB SAS disk then it can.
It just show partitions as Ceph OSD, but I don't know why it can not be in the cluster.

Look at the SMART values of that drive, in your screenshot it says already that it is "very" soon failing. This could be very well the reason that it doesn't work.

For future adding of OSDs, if the drive has been used before, then overwrite the first 200MB with dd, otherwise the disk will most likely not be added.

The SMART show as above, I will try to overwrite the disk with dd. Many thanks.
