Ceph hardware diferent server models

I asked this question before but cannot find my own post :-( ...

I have some aging servers used only for ceph storage installed on top of Proxmox. Do you think I can mix hardware by adding additional node but with slightly different hardware , same network speed , drives and comparable CPU and RAM performance. Again this is just for storage and no VMs will be ever run on this cluster. I was wondering if it matters if it is only for ceph...

Yes, you can. But, as more uniform the nodes are the better.
