HI all,
I am creating a ceph cluster that has SSD disks.
I would like to know if it is better create a RAID 0 for each disk (1 Vol for each disk) and then give this to Ceph or just give the native SAS disks.
The hardware is standard HPE DL380. I have this feeling that the Raid setups are more tested (the drivers) than the native sata/sas drivers (who runs a DL380 without RAID controller?).
Thanx,
Sp
