Does anyone know how to locate the actual serial number that would be attached to a hard drive in a CEPH cluster? I have a failing drive and I know which drive is failing from taking the node down and comparing the serial number I received in a email alert to the physical disk. But I cannot seem to find a location of the given serial number within the CEPH UI. I see my drives and the serials which seem to be in HEX but when converted nothing matches my physical drive. I also checked the OSD's but cannot seem to find anything in there either. Does anyone have a suggestion on finding the bad drive?

This is a 28 disk cluster running in 3 CEPH nodes.

Thanks

The disks page for each node gives the model and serial number. Been working through this today with two drives which do not detect

The disk page was the first place I looked. But the serial numbers are all in HEX and don't convert to anything that matches a drive I have. I also checked the OSD's but didn't see any ID there either.

Mine all matched, the serial numbers are all HEX. Seagate and WD Drives
