Ceph and High Availability Issues

Hello everyone,

I have a server cluster consisting of three servers. Ceph is used as the storage system. Proxmox is version 7. If I am here as e.g. move a pfSense with High Availability, my VM crashes. With the old version 6.4 everything ran smoothly.

Please provide the output of pveversion -v for all 3 nodes, as well as the VM Config qm config <VMID>.
Is the same hardware used on all 3 nodes, with the same firmware?

There are two Intel Xeon Gold Servers (pvea and pveb) and one AMD Epyc (pvec).

Currently pvea and pvec are running on Proxmox 7 while pveb is still running on Proxmox 6.

The problem arises when I want to migrate a VM from pvehc to pveha (both Proxmox 7). Only after restarting the VM does the error no longer occur.

With Proxmox 6.4 I could move the VMs to any server without any problems, regardless of whether it was pfSense or Ubuntu.

Live migration between Intel and AMD is problematic. If it works that's great, but you can't depend on it. There's no guarantee that it will work.
It would be best not to mix AMD and Intel CPUs in the same cluster if you require live migration.
