cant Upgrade when logged with Openid

Probably the answer lie somewhere on the forum , but a quick search did not hist anything good
sorry in advance if for some reason i am terrible with search

Can i know the rationnal behind the fact , when logged with OpenID or authentik ?

Updating via the Proxmox GUI can only be done by the root user. I assume that rules out OpenID users as well. I can't remember why Proxmox works this way, but it does remove a dependency on sudo. You can probably sudo apt dist-upgrade on a command line.
