Can't update packages even after changing sources.list

Hello,

Like the title says.

I followed the directions here: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Package_Repositories to update my sources.list file for non-subscription users but I still can't download packages. I can ping the repo server but every time I try to refresh my packages I get this error:

E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
TASK ERROR: command 'apt-get update' failed: exit code 100

And if I try to just download a package, I get a 404 error.

Any advice? I'm just a home user with a lab so I don't have a subscription.
