Hello,

I'm a little bit lost... yesterday i did a RAM upgrade to the server so i have to reboot it. Now, i cannot establish connection with proxmox GUI neither ping the machine. I have two interfaces configured with different IPs, one FC 10GB and the other one is standard 1GB. I can connect to the VMs using RDP or guacamole and all of them have Internet connection and LAN and can ping and access other machines. But no one, VMs or external, can ping the host. What could be the reasons of this behavior?
Its a bit problematic because im in other location and cant access using ssh.

Hi,

Did you check the firewall? can you please also post the output of ip a?
There are some machines that can use the GUI but i don't understand why... maybe something about ARP cache. I did a network scan from one of the systems it can't ping the host and it detects the IP, the only thing i can see could be a problem is both interfaces have same MAC. How could it be?

I'm sorry, i forgot to post the output of ip a:

Hi, I am having the same issues. I recently changed my router from Asus to Unifi, and Even though I can see my Proxmox on the Network, I can not ping it, yet my VM ( Home Assistant) is working fine. I do not have much IT experience and just followed a Youtube guide to set up Home Assistant in Proxmox. So I have no idea how to fix this issue. Can you tell me what you changed, and why?

I have set the same static ip on both networks, and made sure my gateway in the proxmox is correct, but beyond that I am lost.
