[SOLVED] Can't install Proxmox VE 7.1-2 with AMD Ryzen 5 3400G w/o dedicated Graphic Card

Hi,
I'm new to Proxmox.
My System Specs:
ASUS Prime X570-Pro
Ryzen 5 3400G
16GB RAM


I try to install Proxmox VE 7.1-2, but after the DHCPDISCOVERY, I have Static DHCP, the Screen goes black and a static cursor appears in the top left corner of the monitor
and that's it.
BIOS IGFX or PCIE makes no difference
A dedicated PCIE Graphic Card solves the problem (a very old GF210).

Just for fun, I installed Debian 11 and Proxmox over it from CLI. No problems there. All hardware came up ok.
Also, a 6.4 installation runs through.

So, is the problem between my ears, or why does the Graphic Installer part does start?

I just installed 7.1-2 on a 3400G system a week or so ago and it worked fine-ish... The graphical installer did take about 10 minutes to come up. But once it came up, it was fine. I have no explanation as why this happened, but after a few attempts at rebooting and redoing my USB drive, I found this by chance because I started the boot and walked away. Was about 8-10 mins later and the GUI installer was up and ready for me.

Mine is in an Asus ROG STRIX B550 F-Gaming.

thx for the answer. On my system, it took about four minutes and the graphic part came up. I guess some patience is required.

The thread is solved. May I mark it so or does that a moderator? Couldn't fine a botton for that.

You can pair a gtx 1660 ti with the ryzen 5 3400g for great gaming performance. But the ryzen 5 3400g comes with an integrayed Vega 11 gpu which is as powerful as the gtx 1050ti and can be compared to the gtx 1060 3gb.

THX for your suggestion, I keep it in mind. I've to look into having an extra graphic cad in the system. Up to now, it's a playground to make myself familiar with Proxmox and its possibilities.
