Can't get CyberPower UPS working, missing usbhid-ups.

Hello, I have looked and saw a couple issues around certain ups but I came across an issue where I got a new UPS to protect my server and when I plugged in the USB in order to install NUTS and get that working, I noticed my device number kept increasing, so I wasn't able to get the device information. Further looking into it, it disconnects and reconnects pretty rapidly and looking online, I see that from some Arch forums it says I need usbhid-ups installed. Further looking I see that it is listed on the debian pages under nut-server. So I installed nut-server and still have the same issues. Anyone know how to get this UPS to stay connected?
