Im furious so deal with me nicely
Sue me if you like, I dont care

Installed Proxmox, logged in as root (to webUI), connected to SSH and when I try to upgarde my OS, it keeps saying that repo does not have release file.

I mean, who the hell disabled official repo?

Kind of shitty project.

Read it, compared my repos in list and everything seems to be as listed, but still no release file.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a VE 5.0-32 installed on my test setup. do you mean the primary subscription based repo is offline? because my setup is no-subscription and it updates just fine, via WebUI and via SSH

I just now (10/23/2017) powered it on,
logged in in WebUI and did refresh and upgrade just fine.

where do you login via SSH and why? when you can do update/upgrader via WebUI.
and SSH should work ok too.

I would be glad to help but Im unable to makwe selection to c&p in console. So grab screenshot

First, please give your post a meaningful title, this does not help anyone...

Your screenshot suggests that this, in fact, not the case, as else apt would not try to load the enterprise repository ;)

This is what I call lazyness :: its your (as a staff) obligation to correct titles, not mine. So, instead of bitching about howe bad Iam, maybe you will help?

Open-source and limiting access? seriously?
And btw, where is source-code?
Open Source doesn't mean that the support and the Enterprise repo is for free. Be gratefull that there is an alternative to overprized hypervisors. Well and you should behave better this is not your yard.

as other posters tell you the problem is that new install comes with Enterprise repo active by default, which makes sense as they do not want to maintain 2 install mediums.
so if you setting up a new machine and buy the subscription, before anything else you need to enter your license code.
now if you are trying or want to run a no-subscription setup, you need to do several steps manually to reconfigure the install for non-subscription use, as in , switch the repo config. before doing anything else.

so there is nothing wrong with repo. you just skipped , or tried to , a few steps :)

keep in mind, there is no possible to switch repos via WebUI. it need to be done manually in CLI, via SSH or webui console option.
read WiKi on ho to run a non-subscription based setup for all commands needed.

PS>> and there is no need to use profanity on the forum. especially when you just starting. first read the WiKi, RTFM, and/or search the forums for the error you getting. and even after all else fails ask nicely. it's just a normal community etiquette.

besides, if you start with WTF? you might get a GO F#$@ as a response, would that be nice?

I have to say that I find it really great of the community that you try to help, even if someone has such a bad day, that he uses rude language although he is the position to ask for help.

This is what I call lazyness :: its your (as a staff) obligation to correct titles, not mine.

Not quite, no. You ask for help, so it's in your interest to ask useful questions.
This is a community forum, no one is really obliged to do anything for you, while we (we, as in the whole community) try naturally our best to do so, if a community member stays civil.

For the record, I changed the title in something a bit more meaningful and civil and would like to not see this thread drifting off, thank you all.
