Cannot install proxmox

Hello,

after inserting a cd with the new proxmox iso, I've tried to install it. After a while, it stops, just after detecting network settings.
I've found the X log, saying it cannot find /dev/fb0.

Looks like your graphic card is not VESA 2.0 compatible. What kind of card/chip is it?

Yes it's an old card. S3 virge or something. PCI kind. But for a server, I do not put an modern card in it.

You do not need a 'modern' card. It just need to be VESA2.0 compatible (standard is from NOV. 1994).
