Cannot install proxmox from proxmox 3.4 iso!

Hi,

Is it only me who is encountering the problem as posted at http://forum.proxmox.com/threads/21083-Proxmox-VE-3-4-released!?p=108235#post108235?

I tried with the installer isos for other distros including that of BSDs, they get booted fine except Proxmox 3.4 iso reports it cannot fine the disk and lands at grub rescue mode:

error: disk `' not found.
Enterning resuce mode ...
grub rescue>

I have also redownloaded the iso from March 3, 2015, yet the problem persists. Is it a bug or a feature? Thanks!

You say iso, but are you attempting to boot from a USB or a DVD/CD?

The ISO image is what one burns to the USB or SD or CF, right?

Yes.

If you are trying to boot from USB, that could be your problem. Burn the ISO to a DVD/CD and try that instead.

The error looks like you install the grub on a different partiton! On what disk you install the root? And what fs you use?
