Cannot get mouse or keyboard to work in any VM's

I Cannot get mouse or keyboard to work in any VM's am I missing something?

I tried setting them up under hardware and add USB Device
I tried both Use USB Vendor/Device and Use USB Port

do i understand it right that you're trying to passthrough the physical mouse and keyboard to a VM?

have you enabled iommu? [0]

bios is set

edited
/etc/default/grub
I added intel_iommu=on

and

/etc/modules
vfio
vfio_iommu_type1
vfio_pci
vfio_virqfd

still nothing.
The VM opens but I have no contol of anything inside them. I have tried it on 4 different vm's

* do you see the iommu groups when you run find /sys/kernel/iommu_groups/ -type l?

* can you show VM configuration from qm config VMID?

I switched computers. Looks like that one was just a bit too old.
