cannot clone VM to an other cluster node

I have a VM that is on the common cluster volume, and i want do have a copy or clone you name it with a other ID on an other node.
so I try to clone in the clone window I enter as target the other node a new free ID a new name, as target storage I can only select "same as source"
and get "can't clone VM to node 'proxmox1' (VM uses local storage) (500"

What I am doing wrong. I just need a copy of the vm

Backup the VM to PBS or shared drive, restore on Node 2

Give it Unique MAC if you ever intend to run both copies simultaneously, they will need different IP addresses

Yes but backup take quit a long time, while between the nodes I have a 25GB Fiber connection
One thing I found out, is to clon on the same node and then migrate the clone, would that be ok
