Cannot access web GUI at all

Hello, I set up Proxmox on a computer yesterday and got most of the configuration I needed done. However, coming back today I cannot access the web GUI at all.

I tried to connect via the IPv4 address it gives, yet it times out. I was able to use this yesterday just fine.



Trying through the local IPv6 address doesn't seem to work either.



I can ssh into the machine just fine. I searched through `netstat` for the port and it says it's using tcp6? I can also ping both the gateway and server just fine, there should be no weirdness concerning the IP addresses themselves.


I can't seem to find a clear answer for why this could be happening. Am I missing something?

Likely a ip conflict. Did you chose one outside the router's DHCP range? Connect a keyboard and monitor and debug with that.

I did not, DHCP pool ends at ...249, both the PC (and MacBook) and server are within the range.

If the pool ends at 249, then 240 is within the range. Pick an IP that is higher than 249

I think I'll try and do that, give it an IP outside of the range and see what happens.
