Hey, I have my current cluster:
virt01:~# pveca -l
CID----IPADDRESS----ROLE-STATE--------UPTIME---LOAD----MEM---DISK
1 : 64.120.28.186 M A 109 days 08:19 0.00 16% 1%
2 : 174.34.139.202 N A 11:28 0.00 3% 11%
3 : 174.34.143.122 N A 4 days 07:05 0.00 9% 2%
4 : 64.120.47.34 N A 3 days 19:16 0.64 13% 1%

I attempt to add a node (which fails):
virt01:~# pveca -a -h 96.56.52.238
local node already part of cluster

Any ideas? Its a completely different machine and its a new pve install from iso. Here are my versions on both machines:
virt-nyc01:~# pveversion -v
pve-manager: 1.5-9 (pve-manager/1.5/4728)
running kernel: 2.6.24-11-pve
proxmox-ve-2.6.24: 1.5-23
pve-kernel-2.6.24-11-pve: 2.6.24-23
pve-kernel-2.6.18-1-pve: 2.6.18-4
qemu-server: 1.1-14
pve-firmware: 1.0-5
libpve-storage-perl: 1.0-13
vncterm: 0.9-2
vzctl: 3.0.23-1pve11
vzdump: 1.2-5
vzprocps: 2.0.11-1dso2
vzquota: 3.0.11-1
pve-qemu-kvm: 0.12.4-1

The new node definitely has a unique hostname from all the other nodes. Both the host and the fully qualified hostnames are different.

Please can you post the content of "/etc/pve/cluster.cfg" (remove the RSA keys if you are concerned about security).
