Hi, I recently downloaded the iso file proxmox-ve_3.4-102d4547-6.iso and made a smooth installation.
I named the server prox.domain.cu with 192.168.0.20 IP 255.255.255.0 mask, 192.168.0.5 gateway, and dns 192.168.0.1
I created the lease ip in my windows 2008 r2 DHCP and made a ping request to the server receiving reply in less than 1ms, but when I try to access the webgui using the ip address assigned to proxmox server, I just can’t reach it.
Is there any way to know if my server is listening on the port 8006? Has anyone come across the same issue?

Thanks.

P.D: I am new to this, so please, excuse me if i make some mistake.

Hello to anyone who comes to this thread. I finally got it. I was entering the ip address in the URL like this "http://192.168.0.20:8006" with out https and then i tried with HTTPS using the name i have given to the server during installation prox.domainname like this "https://prox.domain.cu:8006" and like that i could enter the WebGui with the user root and the password set in the during installation process. ;)
