[SOLVED] Can I use an exsisitng OS install with Proxmox?

Hi all, so first off I am brand new to Proxmox.
I have a server with ubuntu server installed on it. I am wanting to switch it out and install Proxmox onto another drive and then boot my exsisitng OS drive inside of Proxmox as a VM.
Is this possible?

You could send your physical disk directly to the vm with https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Physical_disk_to_kvm
Or you could clone your current setup with something like clonezilla and install the clone inside a vm.

Hi @Vaielab so I am trying the link you sent. I am currently having an issues as you can see in this picture

When I try and add the drive I get the error message that the config file does not exist. Where does the number 592 come from anyway?
